BaaBaa Spiced Rum
Born in Bali - Made in Wales

BaaBaa Rum is taking a whole new direction when it comes to spiced rum, introducing vibrant hues, distinctive smoothness, and exotic flavors that truly set this spiced rum apart.

BaaBaa Spiced Rum starts with a base of triple distilled rum from the Bahamas which shows notes of cinnamon, black peppercorn, nutmeg, spiced berries, and orange peel.  After being re-distilled at Hensol Castle Distillery in South Wales and is then infused with toasted and sweet coconut, freshly squeezed lime juice, and an intriguing blend of Eastern Asian wild hibiscus and lotus blossom.

Taste – A journey of smooth yet spicy sensations, featuring sweet and delicate floral notes that grace both the onset and conclusion, heightened by the presence of coconut and lime.

Nose – Floral nuances captivate the senses, influenced by a sophisticated medley of Eastern Asian lotus blossom and Hibiscus, both on the nose and palate.

Appearance – Radiant pink, a true standout on any bar or shelf!

Kate & James BaaBaa Spiced Rum

Meet Kate & James from Penarth, the husband-and-wife partnership behind BaaBaa Rum.

The name BaaBaa comes from (Baa) Bahamas which is where the base rum is from and (Baa) Bali which is where they took inspiration for the flavours and being a Welsh made spiced rum how could it not end up with “Baa Baa”!!

Delicately hand crafted in small batches in South Wales. BaaBaa rum uses a triple distilled base rum from one of the best distilleries in the Bahamas with a 4th distillation taking place at Hensol Castle distillery in Wales.

Here a traditional spiced rum is created by extracting the essential oils from spiced berries, cinnamon sticks, black peppercorns, nutmeg & orange peel. Once this has been completed Kate & James add their own spin by infusing with toasted and sweet coconut and enlightened with Persian lime, wild hibiscus & lotus blossom to give the final touches.

This is all then finished with the purest of Welsh water from the Brecon Beacons.

BAABAA AND TONIC

BaaBaa goes very well with tonic, in particular Elderflower Tonic.

Try a single or a double measure of BaaBaa rum with a tonic of your choice.

To add that extra little pizzazz and sweetness, pour some grenadine into the bottom of the glass first.
